One Gravity, the first NFT collection to launch on decentralized AI network 0G, has recorded phenomenal after-market demand after selling out its initial mint. The floor price for the 1,888 digital collectibles rose by more than 14x on OpenSea with volume exceeding 700 ETH on launch day.
Demand for the first community-focused NFT collection on 0G surpassed all expectations, resulting in all 1,888 NFTs being minted in just 60 seconds. One Gravity NFTs provide community access and serve as a test case for emerging use cases of 0G’s DeAI (decentralized AI) network.
The One Gravity NFT series was released on a FCFS (First-Come, First-Served) basis on Ethereum on March 13 at a mint price of 0.1 ETH apiece. The floor price surged to 1.42 ETH, causing the collection to rank #2 on OpenSea by trading volume.
The FCFS phase, which initially limited each address to two NFTs, was reduced prior to minting to one NFT per wallet. This was implemented to ensure as fair a launch as possible and to widely distribute ownership. Despite this modification, which effectively mitigated bot activity, the mint was rapidly completed.
Utility for the One Gravity NFTs will build over time including the potential for exclusive benefits for Alignment Node owners. One Gravity intends to become a significant part of the 0G ecosystem by using the brand to support 0G builders and the community. The 1,888 NFT collection marks the first chapter in this journey and paves the way for future expansion and rewards for community members.
Alignment Node operators help to secure the 0G network by monitoring AI behavior and detecting malicious behavior. They also play a critical role in supporting the overall robustness and censorship resistance of the 0G network by distributing control over AI alignment. As a core component of the 0G ecosystem, nodes are essential in creating the world’s largest decentralized AI processing network, and are expected to receive additional rewards from 0G-native projects.
