TOKEN2049, the world’s largest crypto event, is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to Singapore, with a stellar lineup of headline speakers and an enhanced attendee experience. The event will take place from September 18-19, 2024 at Marina Bay Sands, coinciding with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024 race weekend.

This year’s TOKEN2049 is set to host 20,000 attendees from over 150 countries, bringing together industry leaders and global cultural figures in Asia’s leading economic hub. Following its record-breaking 2023 edition, TOKEN2049 returns with a week-long series of over 500 side events from September 16-22, turning Singapore into a vibrant hub for web3 innovation and cultural exchange. With 90 percent of exhibition space already sold out due to unprecedented demand, ticket prices are set to increase today, June 28, at 11:59 PM (GMT+8).

TOKEN2049 Singapore promises a unique festival-like experience, merging next-generation web3 technologies with entertainment spread across four floors of the Marina Bay Sands venue. Attendees can look forward to a wide array of activities, including interactive VR zones, immersive AI art experiences, an indoor rock climbing monolith, competition-grade padel, cage football, and mixed martial arts. This year’s event goes beyond a typical conference, offering an environment where entertainment and learning coexist seamlessly. The entire city will reflect the TOKEN2049 community, with participants navigating Singapore in TOKEN2049-branded buses and the city’s iconic pedalled trishaws, ensuring easy and stylish transportation throughout the week.

A major highlight of this year’s event is the debut of TOKEN2049′s startup competition, designed to showcase the next generation of web3 projects. Hundreds of applicants will be evaluated, with the top 10 most innovative projects selected to pitch on the global stage, offering a glimpse into the future of web3 as these startups emerge from stealth mode.

In preparation for what is expected to be the event’s largest and most immersive edition yet, Alex Fiskum, Co-Founder of TOKEN2049, commented, “TOKEN2049 has always been a global platform that brings together ideas, technology, and culture to inspire and entertain. This year, we are reimagining the conference experience from the ground up, creating a spectacle unlike any other.”

This year’s conference will feature over 200 confirmed speakers, including Richard Teng, CEO of Binance; Anatoly Yakovenko, Founder of Solana; Balaji Srinivasan, Founder, Investor, and Author of The Network State; whistleblower Edward Snowden; Arthur Hayes, CIO of Maelstrom; and Emad Mostaque, Founder of Schelling AI. More industry leaders will be announced in the coming months.

TOKEN2049 Singapore’s title sponsors include OKX, a leading crypto exchange and web3 technology company; BingX, a major crypto exchange and official partner of Chelsea FC; TRON DAO, which empowers decentralised commerce and communities globally; DWF Labs, a next-generation web3 investor and market maker; Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and web3 company; and Bullish, one of the fastest-growing, regulated digital asset exchanges.
